Hi all,
I am amazed that there is only one thread talking about the multiComponentMixture thermodynamic stuff (multicomponentMixture) I never used that either the last few years but now I am just looking around and want to make an investigation into an exhaust gas system with a mixture of N2, O2, CO2 @700 K. In former days, I would make a pure-mixture approach and calculate the viscosity & heat capacity of the mixture as pre-processing and set the appropriate values and start. However, I want to have time-dependent gaseous inlets now. Thus, I thought the multiComponentMixture could handle that. However, it seems that the initial composition does not vary during the simulation. Example:
Actually, during the whole run, the compositions stays 0.3/0.7. Before I want to dive into the library, I want to ask the community - maybe this is a known problem, or it is related to wrong set-ups, or perhaps the library cannot handle that?
