Hello guys, how are you?

So, I'm trying to simulate an ascendent air-water two-phase flow, such as presented in Figure 1. This study is based in a real experiment, which consists on a 100 meter tube (represented by the red color text) filled with water at rest, opened to atmosphere at the top, and gas is injected at the bottom of the tube .

Due to processing limitation and for my study purposes, I'm just interested in what happens at the first 10 meters of the column, as presented in the figure.

I am using interIsoFoam and interFoam in OF5.X to make the study, for inicial simplifications for the second, and future implementation for the first.

However, the gas velocity at the inletgas BC must be a groovyBC.

Explaining the equation present at figure 1:
K, H, μg, dres, de, are constant values.
Pformacao its the pressure that comes from the equipment and is a constant value.
Pfundo must be the pressure in front of the inletgas patch, so it depends on the each timestep pressure at the patch.

So, gas inflow velocity (vg_e) at the domain depends on the pressure (Pfundo) exerted in front of the inlet patch. And the pressure, at the bottom of the domain depends on how much gas has entered the domain...

I've tried to insert this groovyBC at OF, considering the p internalField in groovyBC, but I'm not sure how I must insert it right way:

> Courant is going to high;
> timestep continuityerrors too;
> Velocity residuals are low;

I will attach my U, P and log files, so you can see what I'm doing wrong...

Please, this is really important to me, to finish my dissertation...

Thank you very much for your time.

Best regards!
