Dear Foamers,
I am running a common case. Some files such as "points.gz", "owner.gz" were generated down to polyMesh in constant folder after I run blockMesh. Then when I run the solver, it shows Cannot find file "points" in directory "box/polyMesh" in times 0 down to constant Why there generated files *.gz but not the normal ones? Thank you for your answer. |

If you could upload your project somewhere that would narrow things do so people can see this. Also what version of OpenFOAM are you on and what system? |

Thank you for your suggestion. I found these files works well as normal ones and they are not zip files. The problem I encountered comes from my lack of operation. I used topoSet to select cells and reassign BCs. I missed the operation of splitMeshRegions. After this operation, the case works well now. |
