Dear Foamers,
First of all, I apologize if my question exposed below is not a correct issue for this forum. I am a new user of OF1.6. Currently I have a little experience with OF with very simple problems involving natural convection (buoyant****Foam). Since OF is a very powerful tool, I would like to use it in other fields, concretetly in fracture mechanics. After browsing through this forum, I could see that OF can be used to solve problems of stress analysis in solids. (some specifications were pointed in this message: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...28jan2006.html I am specially interested in problems with crack propagation. In my current research (ceramics) this feature is extremely important and interesting. I would like to know if there is some example case where I can see the manner in which this problem is tackled. ¿ Can anyone give me some useful info or doc, please ? Thanks a lot in advance Francisco
