Hi Foamers,
I am doing a particle simulation inside a bifuracting tube using one inlet and two outlets using icoUncoupledKinematicParcelFoam. I have some queries regarding kinematiccloudproperties file from below code. manualInjectionCoeffs { massTotal 0; parcelBasisType fixed; nParticle 1; SOI 0; positionsFile "kinematicCloudPositions"; U0 (0 0 0); sizeDistribution { type fixedValue; fixedValueDistribution { value 0.0006; } } } 1.) In size distribution----value = 0.0006 means that the particles injected are spherical solid with diameter of 0.6 mm? 2.) What is the significance of 'nParticles'? I have injected 10,000 particles in my computation domain.... 3.) Does 'U0' means the initial velocity of particle? 4.) What does 'SOI' means? and what is its significance... Another set of questions from below code in kinematiccloudproperties file..... constantProperties { parcelTypeId 1; rhoMin 0; minParticleMass 0; rho0 1135; youngsModulus 6e8; poissonsRatio 0.35; constantVolume true; } 1.) what is the significance of 'rhoMin' and 'minParticleMass'? I would really appreciate if anybody can answer any of these questions. Regards, Mayank. |
