Good Morning!
I'm pretty new in OpenFOAM so I hope you could help me with my problems. I have made without any problems the pitzDaily tutorial, I could see the evolution of its pressure and velocity.
Now I had the idea of introducing temperature in this same model. For this I used "buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam", which I guess it is correct, but I'm not sure.
The procedure I have followed is very simple: I was adding and changing the files and commands which I was required by the different errors in my terminal. I achieved to do almost everything, but I can't follow now.
The problem is that, when I write the solver in my terminal this error message appears:

PHP Code:
--> FOAM FATAL ERROR
Continuity error cannot be removed by adjusting the outflow.
Please check the velocity boundary conditions and/or run potentialFoam to initialise the outflow.
Total flux              0.0188185
Specified mass inflow
0.000287984
Specified mass outflow
0
Adjustable mass outflow

I have tried with potentialFoam as described in other threads (make a copy of my folder, change "SIMPLE" solver by "potentialFlow" solver in fvSolutions, run it in the terminal, copy this last 0/U in my previous pitzDaily folder and run again with buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam, but it doesn't work.

My main question is if I'm following the right procedure to convert a p&U model into a p&U&T model, because I need it for my particular project. Also if the solver I am using is the correct one.

I attach my 0 and systems files (U is the initial file, because the potential one weighs too much).

Thank you really much

Hi,

Change your outlet boundary for p_rgh as follows and see what happens:

type fixedValue;
value uniform 0;

Thank you very much! It was useful!

I will make another post relating to my own model, if you could help me there it would be great
