Hallo,
I am using the simscale Platform which only offers the buoyantSimpleFoam solve for stationary heat transfer in fluids. Now I read that buoyantSimpleFoam is for compressible fluids. I need to simulate water which is incompressible. Is ist possible to do this with buoyantSimpleFoam ? Or do I habe to use buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam which is for incompresible fluids. The setup I want to simulate is a rod in a tube which is coold by water. The rod is heatet by constant Power do to which the rod reaches a variable temperature depending on the temperatur of the water coming into the system. The tunbs inner wall is considered to be adiabatic. Can this be simulated using buoyantSimpleFoam and if so how is it done? Thank you very much best regards. Benjamin |
