DeltaT and diffusion number in chtMultiRegionFoam

Hi,

Currently I'm trying to set up a simple heat transfer problem between two solids, mostly with properties stolen from the solid regions in the multiRegionHeater tutorial (for now). When I run the solver with Allrun, the log.chtMultiRegionFoam shows proper execution up to the diffusion number section for each region, where things begin to go wrong.

The number is reasonable (4.44E-6), but the mean and max are the same for each. Additionally, the DeltaT in the log is listed as 4500 no matter what deltaT is set to in controlDict (tried from range of .01 to .000001). At this point the program stops and publishes logs without actually running chtMultiRegionFoam.

Where should I look to correct this? Would the problem lie in material properties, or in the control dictionary? Should the time step be adjusted in conjunction with the diffusion number somehow?

Try to open ControlDict file and set the propertie adjusttimestep to false and runtimemodifiable to true. Now set a small deltT and run the problem. After the solver is runing with no problems change adjusttimestep back to true.
