Dear Foamers:
I am now using Helyx to conduct OpenFoam tutorials. I wonder how to add or modify the solver in the Helyx. Because even the application in controlDict is modified, it will not reflect in the GUI of Helyx. Moreover, after I performed one tutorial through Helyx, I checked the controlDict file. There is no application command. Does anyone explain this for me? Thank you in advance! Best, Alex |

han0459,
HELYX-OS only allows users to use a small group of solvers inside the GUI. If you want to use other solvers or setting form OpenFOAM, one must do these outside the GUI. You can still use HELYX-OS to create your geometry and mesh, but all of your boundary conditions and setting must then be done by hand via the text files. Joshua |
