Hallo Foamers,

I am trying to do a leak simulation from a heat pump. There is an inlet in the pump from where a gas (propane) is leaking with 1m/s velocity. In the beginning, when I set the case up everything worked well. When I tried to move the pump to a different position in the computational domain, the leak flow from the inlet got stopped. I tried different things, at the end when I increase the flow rate to 10 m/s then I see the flow coming out from the leakage.

I am using rhoReactingBuoyantFOAM solver for this simulation. Irrespective of the given mass flow rate, In the solver output, I see the species transport equation is getting solved with some iterations. But I don't see the flow coming from the inlet. What would be the possible explanation for this? any Ideas? Please let me know if any further details are needed.

So, it works when I change the gravity to 0.
If I move the pump geometry vertically, after a certain height, the inflow stops from leakage. Either I have to turn gravity off or need to place the pump on the ground to make the simulation work.

This is weird :\ Any ideas, what's happening here?
