Hello, foamers
I wanted to simulate ejection of helium from tube into surrounding air and helium's spreading along the wall which is placed in front of the flow perpendiculary. So, I gave next results for volume fraction of helium. What do you think about it? Does it look believable? Parameters: Solver: multiphaseInterFoam Size of domain: Zmax = 4.5 cm, Rmax = 4.0 cm Distance from tube outlet to the wall = 2 cm Tube's radius = 0.23 cm Tube's lenght = 2.5 cm BCs: noSlip for velosity on walls; 6 m/s for velosity at the beginning of the pipe; (0 0 0) everywhere else; Zero for pressure everywhere except of walls and inlet where the pressure have fixedFluxPressure=0 condition Viscosities and mass densities were taken from tables Grid has poor resolution because I calculated it on my laptop I could not handle with axisymmetry so I had to add bottom half of the domain I don't know how to attach .zip file so, please, follow the link on Google-disk: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RWc...ew?usp=sharing Last edited by Waggy; March 25, 2018 at 08:18. |
