Hi all,
I'm new at this so please forgive my ignorance. I'm trying to run the motorBike example in incompressible simplefoam. I'm getting the following error in decomposePar: Constructing processor meshes word::stripInvalid() called for word homepetemotorBikeprocessor0 For debug level (= 2) > 1 this is considered fatal I believe I've tracked this to be that it cannot create the processor directories (6 in the example). If I create one of the directories I get a different error message (saying it is already decomposed). Any tips would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi,
Do you have a log file of when you run decomposePar? Could you post that? This type of error usually occurs when you have invalid characters in the path/name of the case. Do you have a space somewhere between words in the name? Cheers, Antimony |
