Hello all,

I'm trying to model an inlet in supersonic flow that will not reflect waves, and I've been encountering a very frustrating glitch I'm hoping someone could share some insight on.

I've been using a waveTransmissive boundary condition which I've configured to inject hydrogen at the right T, p, U. The problem is when high pressure gas meets the boundary, and blocks the injection of hydrogen, an 'explosion' occurs from that point:

The pressure and pressure both go totally out of control, and their values only climb. The origin is the concentration of pressure that starts appearing in (2). Is this the boundary? I've only ever read of waveTransmissive being used as an outlet, but I don't know of any other options.

Does anyone know why that happens, or any way of solving it? Any insight would be welcome.

Thanks,
Jon.
