Dear all,
Ive been using the dieselFoam solver to model injection of C7H16 into a high pressure cell, and for the moment Im just interested in inert spray formation. Ive tried various combinations of the spraysubmodels, timesteps and injectorproperties. But upon trying to reproduce experimental data from a high pressure cell at university, I overestimate liquid penetration by a mile. Even by eye, the closest result to the 12mm suggested by the experiment, is around 40mm. Im a bit lost, so would appreciate any kind of help. Thanks in advance, Pieter PS: I read about the redundancy of the 'evaporation continuity error', but since it is steadily rising in my simulations.... |
