Hye everyone.
I am a new user who just started with OpenFoam 1.7.1 recently. I am trying to simulate with the k-epsilon model the flow over a wind turbine vertical (VAWT) . The meshing is a non structural mesh realised with salome. I would like to have some help for the choose of the solvers: i read in the tutorial that the MRFSImple or simplSRF are betters for this kind of simulation. Wich one choose? Then, i hope to realise a dynamical simultaion wind a blade and a body who turn. That why i need to define a Ggi interface . THe problem is that, i dont find the ggi commande in openFOam 1.7.1. Hi Seg,
my experience is that MRFSimpleFoam works better than SimpleSRFFoam. And you have to install the extended version to use GGI, e.g. openfoam-1.6-ext. Taner |
