Hello,
I am a French student and I have a project on OpenFoam, the modeling of the wind flow around a building. We use the simpleFoam solver. However, we would like to insert a logarithmic wind profile, via the atmBoundaryLayerInletVelocity function. We have been looking for this feature in the turbinesitting tutorials. After copying the whole ./O directory into our simulation, we get an error message when we run the solver :

--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
Cannot find patchField entry for fixedWalls

file: /home/etudiants/OpenFOAM/etudiants-4.1/run/Projet/Test-log/0/p.boundaryField from line 27 to line 21.

From function void Foam::GeometricField<Type, PatchField, GeoMesh>::Boundary::readField(const Foam:imensionedField<TypeR, GeoMesh>&, const Foam::dictionary&) [with Type = double; PatchField = Foam::fvPatchField; GeoMesh = Foam::volMesh]
in file /home/ubuntu/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-4.1/src/OpenFOAM/lnInclude/GeometricBoundaryField.C at line 191.

FOAM exiting

How could this be solved ?

Thanks in advance

Nathan
