FOAMers,
I have a coupled elbow system, where the liquid exits one boundary and goes to a tank. It is then transferred from the tank to another patch without a significant loss of pressure/velocity. I tried to model this process a cyclic boundary condition with the help of cyclicAMI but I wasn't successful and kept running to initial target not found error. Then I tried the mappedPatch boundary with nearestPatchFace sampling mode. I keep getting mapping field error despite providing the neighbouring patch name with uniform (0 0 0) offset. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue are greatly appreciate? Is there another boundary condition that I can use for this problem as shared in the attached pdf file? Thanks! |
