Hi All!
I have implemented a new version of dsmcFoam where it is possible to initialise the particles where desired inside the domain under study and to simulate a pressure-driven flow of particles. I implemented the changes to the code for initialisation and Claus Schmitzer implemented those about the flow modelling. The way everything works is briefly discussed in the document 'dsmcFoamModifications'. The procedure for compiling is explained there, together with a list of the modified classes. Finally, you can find an example test case, which you can use to see how to apply the modifications to your own analysis and also some movies of the results I obtained. If you want to have the new code version, then you can contact me directly because it's impossible to attach it here. Cheers! Marta |
