Dear Fellows
I am trying to connect to a server paraview 5.4.1. through the server client mode with the instructions in this link: https://sites.google.com/site/jordim...ew-in-parallel After connecting through the defined server, I get this error window in my paraview (client paraview): Code:
p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; } ERROR: In /home/buildslave/dashboards/buildbot/paraview-pvbinsdash-linux-shared-release_superbuild/build/ superbuild/paraview/src/VTK/Common/System/vtkSocket.cxx, line 481 vtkClientSocket (0x2680a50): Socket error in call to connect. Connection refused. ERROR: In /home/buildslave/dashboards/buildbot/paraview-pvbinsdash-linux-shared-release_superbuild/build/superbuild/paraview/ src/VTK/Common/System/vtkClientSocket.cxx, line 53 vtkClientSocket (0x2680a50): Failed to connect to server p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; } ERROR: In /home/buildslave/dashboards/buildbot/ paraview-pvbinsdash-linux-shared-release_superbuild/build/superbuild/paraview/src/ParaViewCore/ServerManager/Core/vtkSMSessionClient.cxx, line 257 vtkSMSessionClient (0x2cb6ac0): Some error in socket processing. In terminal (in which I am connected to the cluster), this error can be seen: Code:
Connection failed during handshake. vtkSocketCommunicator::GetVersion() returns different values on the two connecting processes (Current value: 100). Regards Last edited by babakflame; January 6, 2018 at 22:49. |

Dear Fellows
I tried another binary version of paraview on both server and client. It seems that the previous error was due to version conflict. Regards |

How to plot wall shear stress on airfoil in paraview?
The wall shear stress had been calculated in the airfoil case. Can someone tell me the exact steps in paraview? Any advice will be grateful. Thanks |
