Hi,
I try to study the case of Axial Turbine Blade and get wrong mesh when extrude the bade as shown in picture. the errors are :
1) after extruding (normal), there is a domain with very fine mesh size at outside edge.
2) the mesh at suck side is wrong, no grids are created.

Would anyone like to do me a favor ?

I have no idea what happens.

Hello Haijun,

For the case where no grid in the marching direction is created, this seems to be a graphics issue. Try enabling double precision graphics. This can be done by going to the Edit, Preferences menu and checking the box under the Graphics section.

As for the fine mesh at the outside edge, is this a 3D grid? If so, I'm wondering if this is simply an artifact of your screen orientation. Rotate the mesh and see if it still persists.

Hi Travis

I appreciate your reply so much.
1)the first problem I will try double precision graphic.

2) the fine mesh really exist. I rotate and still see it. However, I can delete it when I process mesh.

Thanks for your advices

Hi Travis

I check the double precision. It works. The mesh has right grid.
