Hi,
Is there a direct way to export the velocity field and surface elevation data in some format without having to go through paraview? Thanks, Shai |

Hi Shai,
It depends on what you want to do. If you want to know the time series of the free surface elevation at distinct locations, the wave gauges using the P 51 command will give you data you need. Similarly, you can use the point probes using P 61, line probes using P 62. These provide information on the velocities and pressure amongst others as a time series. P 52 and P 56 provide spatial variation of the free surface in x- and y-direction respectively. Each of these commands can be issued multiple times and the you can process the output using a data processing software of your choice.
