Hello everyone,

I have got two questions.

The first one regards the application of S 10 2 in the ctrl.txt file (using porous sediment for the sediment phase). As stated here: S10 impermeable or porous sediments the VRANS equations are solved for this option. I was just wondering, how the resistance coefficients alpha and beta are then declared (e.g. https://doi.org/10.1080/21664250.2020.1734412 or B270-B295 in the ctrl.txt). I found an option called S26 in vrans_sed_update.cpp, which is not present in the user guide. Therefore, I was wondering whether this option is only not present in the manual or whether one has to declare these coefficients differently.

My second question regards the combination of the 6DOF and the sediment transport module. From my perspective, the 6DOF algorithm can only be used for floating objects. I tried to give the floating.stl a density higher than water, while being allowed to traverse in z-direction. The result was, that the object traversed through the bottom boundary and left the numerical domain. My goal was to have an object laying on the flume floor, which moves once the surrounding scouring does not support its stability anymore. Since I have not found any option, that allows such an approach, I was wondering whether there is an option, that allows the interaction of a 6DOF body with solid boundaries, ultimately allowing the investigation of my problem.

Thanks for your help in advance!
