Hello,

Im new to this REEF3D cfd software.so i try to float a rectangluar box in SFLOW.
I wrote the control, ctrl and run simulation and i got the result..

so my question is ,can i see the floating box in paraview?
i wanna see the 2D picture of the floating box.
how can i get the 2D picture for verification and to understandd the exact location?

please help.......

SFLOW does not support true floating. Only motion of a box or ship hull in order create waves. The geometry readable for Paraview is stored REEF3D_SFLOW_6DOF_VTP.

How to input 3DOF and 6DOF seperately?

X 11 int Turn the individual degrees of freedom of the floating body, the linear and the
angular velocities: u,v ,w,p,q, r
When degrees of freedom are chosen to be prescribed, then they can be prescribed with
either fixed external linear or angular velocities or different kinds of motion files.
0 OFF
1 solver 6DOF equation
2 prescribed
default: 1 ; 1 ; 1 ; 1 ; 1 ; 1

FOR 3DOF X 11 1 0 1 0 1 0

FOR 6DOF X 11 1 1 1 1 1 1

is it correct?
I dont know how to input this?
can you help me to input 3DOF and 6DOF?

yes, correct. But will only work for CFD - not SFLOW.
