Hello community,

I'd like to extend my gratitude to Professor Hans Bihs for providing such impeccable tools.

I attempted to install REEF 3D on my openSUSE virtual machine. Following a tutorial on a YouTube channel, I successfully installed the prerequisites and DiveMesh. However, upon attempting to install REEF 3D, I encountered the following error:

cannot find -lhypre collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [makefile:27: bin/reef3d] error 1

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Hei,
can you verify that hypre has been successfully installed?
REEF3D expects it to be located under /usr/local/hypre.

Hello Alexander,

I would like to express my gratitude for responding to me. I've been troubleshooting the installation of Hypre, and after numerous attempts, it finally succeeded. Interestingly, today, when I switched laptops and upgraded the Ubuntu version, it worked seamlessly for me.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards
