You cannot use a .trn-file as initial conditions. Wasn't it clear? How often do we need to repeat?

You seem to be lost somewhere. Can you explain what you are doing and what your real problem is?...

you can use .res and .bak filles since they...

you can use .res and .bak filles since they contain a mesh. .trn-files not.
