Hello,
I am trying to find the heat transfer coefficient of water flowing in a pipe but the values I get seem absurd. I am using the local heat transfer coefficient hence according to the manual there is no need for a reference temperature. The only thing I am doubtful is that, must I select the Water/pipe interface or the water domain or the domain excluding inlet outlet ? Also does any one know how the heat transfer in statistical reports is calculated. Anyway to check if the value coming out is correct ? Thanks |
