Hi friends!
I am using DFBI for modeling a 3-DOF motion of ship in first order VOF wave. body attached grid is translating with accelerated body in forward direction. My question is about the frequency of the wave. Which frequency (period) should be applied in inlet BC, the encounter frequency or the wave actual frequency? |

For the fifth order Stokes waves, you need wave height/amplitude, period of waves/length of waves, depth of water. So inlet boundary will be applied this wave as velocity inlet
