Modelling a Pressure Difference

Hi all,

I'm currently working on a project which is a simple angled hole in a plate (pre-swirl nozzle of sorts).

Essentially my issue is that I don't have a value for the inlet velocity, only the pressure on one side of this plate and the pressure on the other side.

2 questions:

* Does the inlet velocity matter? It will change as the iterations go on anyway

* By setting the inlet face and outlet face at their pressures, does this represent the pressure of the large regions either side of the plate?

Any advice on the most representative settings would be useful too,

Running a simulation with two pressure boundary conditions is perfectly acceptable, it's generally just more difficult to converge since it takes some time for the velocity to settle down.

So for your questions: No and yes.
