Hi everybody.

I am getting the surface is not manifold error message at the beginning of the volume mesh phase. I have tried the repair surface and it has no problems, no non-manifold edges or vertices, free edges, pierced faces etc, but I'm still getting the error....I'm working with an STL file that I can post here if it's okay.

PS im a beginner in CFD.

Thanks ,

Not all 3D modeling tools can be used if you do not want to engage in heavy repair of the model and if you did not make it in the native editor. It is much better to use .iges for insertion.

Can I import .STEP? Or a parasolid file instead?

I did not understand the question.
You can import. I do this when the model is complex. You can also treat.

Please. If the model is made with the right tool, everything is possible.
