Hi all,
motorsport Engineering student here and new to CFD. Getting my grips around Star CCM this week, and I am confident in setting up and completing a run but have run into a question that I was hoping I can resolve here while my instructor is on leave. I am Testing a 6412 NACA airfoil @ 0 Degrees angle of attack, I am looking to see if it is possible to change the AOA without having to set up an entirely new simulation. ideally, I would like to test the 6412 at 0, 10, 15, and 20 degrees within the same simulation and compare them together(this is a 3D airfoil). some steps that I have tried are- -Transform and rotate the part. (if I do this on the part itself, it will rotate but not re-mesh. If done on the subtract with the tunnel, it rotates the entire assembly.) -Create a rotate operation with the same results from above. Any guidance is appreciated! |
