Dear friends,

I recently downloaded the new version of SU2 to perform few CFD analyses but for some reason the bin folder of the v6.2.0 is empty after decompression.
I initially thought I did something silly, thus I downloaded the archive again and checked several times, but it really appears that nothing is in that folder.

What I do is the usual procedure I have done many times on my Linux machine:

- I have downloaded the *.tgz archive
- I have decompressed with the tar -xvzf command

Is there anything that I am missing here?

Thank you very much in advance for your help and support.

Best regards,
Vinnie

Hi Vinnie,

Thanks for using SU2 and reaching out! Indeed this is strange. I just downloaded this and for me only the test case are included. I will try to remedy this. I hope this will be fixed soon. Thanks for bring this to our attention.

Best,
Wally

Let me just carefully ask whether you have compiled and installed it?

In case you haven't, here's the installation guide:
