The post is available for 2 years from January 2019. This is a unique 
opportunity to work as a KTP Associate on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership 
between the University of Exeter and Hydro International. 


Hydro International and the University of Exeter are working in an exciting 
area to develop a toolset that uses Bayesian Optimisation and Computational 
Fluid Dynamics techniques to optimise the function and manufacturability of 
products for urban and industrial water treatment.


Hydro International are a global company who provide advanced products, 
services and expertise to support municipal, industrial and construction 
customers to improve their water management processes, increase operational 
performance and reduce environmental impact.  Based in Clevedon, UK, Hydro 
International have a reputation for engineering excellence in the delivery of 
products and services that reduce flood risk, improve water treatment and 
protect the environment from water pollution.


You will be based at Hydro International's main office in Clevedon but work 
closely with both company and academic staff to develop and embed a recently-
developed toolkit utilising Bayesian Optimisation & CFD to optimise product 
function and manufacturability, and accelerate the product development process.


You will possess good programming and mathematics skills and degree level 
(preferably Masters) in a numerate discipline: Engineering, Computer Science, 
Physics or a related discipline.
