DESCRIPTION OF THE OPEN POSITION:

Main areas of work:
o	State-of-the-art of static and dynamical analysis of a heat exchanger in aero
jet engines 
o	Static analysis of a simplified heat exchanger geometry guide vane by
different temperature ranges using ANSYS packages (workbench and APDL) 
o	Dynamical analysis of a simplified heat exchanger geometry by different
temperature ranges using ANSYS packages (workbench and APDL) 
o	Comparison of the results taking into account the temperature variation in the
flight cycle 
o	Optionally: topology optimization of the heat exchanger


We are looking for candidates who are:
o	in a Master Program (computational engineering/mechanics, aeronautics,
mechanical engineering, physics, mathematics...)
o	interested in structural analysis methods/Programming 
o	experience (or the ability to learn in a short time): ANSYS (Workbench, APDL),

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE APPLICATION:

2. Normally we need between 1/2 weeks before we can give you an answer about

     b. certificates (High school, Bachelor, Master, job experience…)
     c. reports & abstracts of the most important projects
     d. publications: papers… 
4. Send only one pdf file (max. 4 MB)
5. Only internships (before or after the graduation under the ERASMUS +
program)/Master´s thesis applications (eventually PhD supported by ERASMUS +
program) 
6. The best time for starting in our Chair coincides with the semester start-
April and October-( as student you have a lot of advantages: public transports,
