Papers are welcome on all aspects of heat transfer and related mass transfer, including applications such as bio-systems, gas turbines and i.c. engines, materials processing, micro-systems, power and process engineering.

Following on from the success of the 2003 UKHT conference in Oxford, we hope the conference will be an informal and lively occasion and particularly wish to encourage attendance by graduate students and others at early stages in their careers in heat transfer.

Acceptance of contributed papers will be decided on the basis of an extended abstract which should be submitted via the conference website. These will be presented via A0 posters preceded by a short oral preview.

The Conference will be held in the University of Manchester's executive conference facility, Chancellor's, with its major lecture theatre, breakout rooms, lounges and exhibition areas.
