Nika Fluid Solutions ANNOUNCES EFD.V5 - World’s First Commercial, Fully Integrated, Engineering Fluid Dynamics Tool For CATIA V5 Offers Ease-of-Use, Accuracy and Performance

Colfax, California (February 17, 2004) --- Nika Fluid Solutions (NikaFS) today announced the availability of EFD.V5, a seamless integration between Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA V5 and Nika GmbH’s (NIKA) EFD analysis technology. Since EFD.V5 is seamlessly integrated with the CATIA V5 user interface and is fully embedded into its feature tree, users will be able to create designs with CATIA and then immediately proceed to analyzing and optimizing those designs without having to learn a new user interface or dealing with any data translation issues. By providing CATIA V5 users with powerful analysis of the simultaneous flows of gases or liquids, heat transfer and forces on immersed or surrounding solids, EFD.V5 will enable them to develop better quality products, saving both design time and development cost.
