We are happy to announce a new release of preCICE, v1.1.1.
Most important advances:
- The Radial Basis Function mapping code, based on PETSc, now supports using a separated linear polynom also in the conservative case. This helps to improve conditioning of the system matrix, without harming accuracy.
- Faster compilation time by restricting the building to the most used settings
- Experimental support for building with the Conda package manager and for building with CMake
preCICE is a coupling library for partitioned multi-physics simulations, including, but not restricted to fluid-structure interaction and conjugate heat transfer simulations. preCICE couples existing simulation software in a minimally invasive way and is open-source under the LGPL3 license. The source code is available on GitHub.
We provide ready-to-use adapters for SU2, CalculiX, Code_Aster, and OpenFOAM. Adapters for in-house codes can be written in nearly 30 lines of code.
Have a look at our roadmap to see on which features we are currently working on.
