Versevo Now Offers Casting Simulations

September 1, 2012

Versevo Inc., a multi-disciplined designer and manufacturer of tooling and cast metal products, has signed a multi-year license agreement with Flow Science, Inc., to use their FLOW-3D(R) Cast software for simulating the flow, solidification, and thermal effects upon sand cast, permanent mold, high & low pressure die cast, and the lost foam casting processes. Versevo Inc. President & CEO, Terry Moon said, "Our agreement with Flow Science, Inc. to utilize this high end simulation software indicates our strong confidence in their product, leadership, and corporate direction, and separates us from our competition, giving us a competitive advantage as a supplier of complex tooling, casting, and machining of aluminum, iron, and steel cast products." Moon adds, "Since 1994, Versevo has been an innovative and industry leading supplier to OEM's and casters, of patterns, molds, and dies that are used to produce simple to complex castings in a wide variety of products. FLOW-3D(R) Cast is a powerful simulation package that will permit Versevo engineers the opportunity to perfect the casting process prior to manufacture of the tooling, and first shots. The industry standard has always been 'First Shot Success', and with the addition of FLOW-3D(R) Cast, our ability to ensure our customers 'First Shot Succes', has improved dramatically by reducing the number of times a tool is sampled to produce quality parts. Time is money!"

Versevo Inc. Vice President of Engineering, Tim Kauffung adds, "We are excited to add this technology to our toolbox of services. Computational fluid dynamics has become a mature technology. Versevo Inc. recognizes the value this maturity brings to our customers in the support of their ‘First Shot Success’ and winning the speed to market race against our competitors. We look forward to helping them in that endeavor." Kauffung goes on to say, "Versevo Inc. has researched several systems and found the value and accuracy provided by Flow Science, Inc. and the FLOW-3D(R) Cast algorithms to be superior in many ways. It is this value we intend to pass on to our customers. Furthermore, we have great confidence in the abilities of the people we have heading up this new service, and have given them the commitment needed to succeed. We have great expectations for them and the entire Versevo Inc. team."

"We are confident that Versevo will be able to seamlessly adopt FLOW-3D(R) Cast into their design and manufacturing cycle, making them even more competitive. We are pleased to welcome them to the growing community of FLOW-3D(R) users," commented Thomas Jensen, president of Flow Science.

Versevo Inc., established in 1994, occupies 52,000sf of a single tenant facility located in Hartland, WI (West side suburb of Milwaukee), and reports ~60 full time employees and annual revenue exceeding $10.m. Versevo Inc. is privately owned, and specializes in the design and manufacture of patterns, coreboxes, dies, molds, fixtures, castings, and machining in support of the cast and molded products industries.
