Hello,
for geometry cleaning and meshing (surface & volume) i use ANSA (v. 16.0.1). I just tested the Function Topo -> Faces -> Rm.Dbl , Option: Symmetry Plane It showed me symmetric faces, etc. As i understand i then get a blue (master) and a green part (slave). Meshing the surface and deleting face works fine. But when I create a new face on the blue part it wont be mirrored to the green site. Same when i create a volume mesh for the blue side. Nothing on the green site happens. Is there a way to change that? Thanks a lot, Ismo |

Hi Ismo
The function Remove Double works for the current status of the model. If you then create new geometry you should do it on the master side and then use the function Transform>Link>Symmetry to create a Link copy on the other side. Ensure you always have the same side as master! Hope this helps Vangelis |
