Helly everybody,
as a complete beginner do ANSYS (FLUENT) I try to follow a tutorial on an airfoil with ANSYS14. To begin with the geometry of a NACA 7420 shall be imported as a 3D-curve from a .txt file (attached). When I import this file I get a Reading Error and after generation the "Error: Duplicate Coordinates found in Coordinates File Context:Curve Feature Curve5 File:<path> Line:61" I cant see any duplicate coordinates which I figured to be coordinates of the same group and point number nor geometrically the same coordinates. Line 61 is the line in wich the curve's coordinates are the origin. If I change them slightly the Error still appears If I delete them I then get the "Error: Points in Coordinates File are outside valid range Context: Geometry Engine, while generating Feature Curve5" Since I could not find the definition of the "valid range" neither in the ANSYS help nor in other threads or by experimenting I hope for your help. (If I missed to explain relevant aspects of the problem please ask for more information) Thank you for thinking about it Last edited by Brathmann; February 13, 2013 at 08:32. Reason: Problem solved |
