Dear friends
I have a solid cylinder . I would like to split concentric circular bodies . How do split multiple coaxial cylinders on it? Thank you Regards Govind |

There are different options you can use within DM. One way is to use the slice option using the following steps:
1) Select a sketching plan (in my case XY) 2) Draw a concentric circle, prescribe the diameter 3) Select Tool>Freeze (so you can use the slice option in step 4) ) 4) Select Extrude and select the sketch from step 2), under "operation" tab select "Slice Material" instead of "Add Material" (default), hit generate -> You will have 2 separate concentric cylinders, if you need multiples you can just draw more concentric circles in step 2) to generate the number of slices you want. |
