[ANSYS Meshing] 2D Import from Solidworks -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Kxt908 New Member Kieran Join Date: Dec 2013 Posts: 6 Rep Power: 12	All, This may have been covered in a previous post but I have spent the last hour searching with no prevail. I am trying to import a solidworks part into Ansys Mesh to perform a 2D simulation. Currently the solidworks part is a 3D solid. What format does the solidworks part need to be for Workbench to accept it as a 2D mesh? Any information would be very useful. Thanks Kieran hotboy likes this.
