Hi all

How to fix the the vertex as a perfect square after O grid blocking.

Hi,

you could try creating points on the circle's arcs the following way.

# use create point on curve to get a point at 50% length of each arc. (to have 4 corner points of the square)
# copy and rotate the 4 points on the circle by 45 degree around the axis of the cylinder

Then, associate the outer vertices to the points.

For the o-grid points, i would first try to realign the o-grid vertices with the boundary vertices and reset the o-grid thickness.
If the result is dissatisfying, i would create a local coordinate system and move the vertices by coordinates.

If the geometry is not along the axis how to rotate the point on the curve
