Unable to Import Geometry

Hello,
I am currently unable to import any external geometry into DesignModeler. Everything appears to be working in DesignModeler. I can make sketches and basic extrudes, but when I go to File -> Import External Geometry File, nothing happens. It closes the menu, but I don't get a pop up to select the external geometry. I am using the university or academic version of ANSYS 14.5, so I am somewhat limited on what I can change with the program. However, if someone does have a solution, I can probably bring to our tech support people and hopefully they can get it corrected, as I am not the only student with this problem. Thanks for you help. |
