HI
My problem is modelling a stirred tank. so i need to give sliding mesh to stirrer and to some volume(which contains fluid) around it, and the outer static mesh also contains fluid. So I need to divide the mesh of fluid region into two parts: static(normal) and sliding one. The momentum from stirrer must be transferred to the fluid.
Pls see my previous thred:

But im getting the following error while meshing:

"The mesh file exporter failed during translation. Please send your data to your support provider."

I guess it must be due to any interference, but I have given all the coponents according to perfect dimensions.
I am attaching the image of mesh generated. The error is seen while updating the mesh in order to work in fluent.

Hello,

were you able to fix the problem? because I have encountered this problem right now, even though I have done many simulations so far. Initially I doubted that it is caused by wrong mesh, and others say that it is because of the wrong characters in the folder path.I dont have any path name wrong. it is still not working when I simulate the easiest 2D simulation.(not updating the mesh) Maybe it is related to license. Could you keep also me in the loop about this ? Im still looking for some solution

@keshiba and @wales: Is that the only error you get? How are you sure that its the interface that's causing the errors?

Could you post more pictures so that the side panels with mesh details is visible?

What versions of ansys are you using? Are you using Design Modeller or Space Claim for geometry?
