Hi,
I m doing a flow simulation in a turbine stator. I'm using ICEM for meshing the regions. For solving the boundary layer near to the blade surface I have used prism layers around the pressure and suction surfaces. But the prism meshes are generated on both sides of the blade (i.e) on the fluid and the solid regions. How to avoid meshing the solid part of the blade which does not require boundary layer resolution? Please kindly address this issue anyone?
