Hello,

i often come across a problem regarding the naming and automatic renaming of geometrical entities.

I create, for example, a point "pnt.21"
ic_point {} POINTS pnt.21 0,0,0
in the part named "POINTS" and reusing it subsequently for curve creation, the point is automatically renamed to a different name. Hence I can't refer to it for later geometry
commands, except the point is recreated with a known name.

Is there a way to avoid this behavior of ICEM? Or, how could I deal with automatic renaming in scripts?

Thank you in advance
Ralf
