Hi!

Im trying to do modal analysis and I have beam elements in my model and there are two different cross-sections. So I used line bodies to create a geometry. I did that by creating two lines and I changed the details of the other line such that the operation is "add frozen". So I thats how I could use two different cross sections for two different lines. Then I pick both line bodies and click "Form new part". That was the easy part and I was happy until I opened the Mechanical. THE problem is:

There is a question mark at the geometry part and it seems that it is not okay to use Beam as a model type. Why is that? Why cant I use Beam elements? Or is there something I have misunderstood?

Ps. I attached a screenshot from the problem, please see enclosed.

Thanks a lot
