Hello everyone,
I am beginner in Ansys fluent. I want do 3D stirred tank simulation. For that I developed the geometry with primitives in ansys design modeller. Now in meshing I want to do a structured meshing & instead of default meshing I want to mesh each geometry part separately for better control. Can anyone help me how to do separate meshing for each part with different control? I want to also know about how to start the ICEM as in Ansys fluent i am not able to see it. Please help me out in this as I have stuck here for long time.

ANSYS Meshing:

1. Slice your parts

2. Method : Map

3. Set sizes on your curves and done

To open ICEM CFD, you can do it directly from start menu or from workbench.

Thanks Far.
From workbench where is the location to start the ICEM? Can I do this separate meshing in ansys Modeller also? as I am running out of time so to learn ICEM may require extra time.
Thanks in advance

can you share your geometry. So that we can suggest you method.

Another options is to use tetra + prsim mesh. and it should also give you good results.

Please find attached geometry file for my case.
Please also send me your e-mail ID so i can share you it on there.
currently my guide told me to do structure mesh & divide geometry near impellers into more parts for better control.
