I'm doing a 2D analysis of a two-arfoil Drag Reduction System in Fluent.
I've built the mesh around the airfoils as show in photo. It is a C-mesh domain. I've selected the right solver (Fluent V6) in Output, entered the right BC for inlet, outlet, (medium surface as) fluid and also for the two airfoils (wall on both). It works fine with single airfoil mesh and with one of the 2 airfoils (while both airfoil geometries are in domain), I encounter the following errors when trying to open the combined DRS (i.e. with 2 unconnected airfoil geometries): Error: Build Grid: Aborted due to critical error. Error Object: #f Setting Post Processing and Surfaces information ... Error: lvectorlength: wta(1) Error Object: () Is there something I'm missing or a change I should make for it to open ? Note:Fluent is on Serial so as to "Save as" when it opens and reopen with Parallel cause there was a problem too. Last edited by NickChatz; November 24, 2016 at 04:20. |
