Hello everyone,
I'm trying to mesh a 2d transonic airfoil using icem cfd blocking and converting pre mesh to unstructured-mesh. After conversion while checking the mesh in edit mesh menu it only shows me warning of single edge elements around the boundary which, I learned from this discussion forum, can be ignored. But when I'm trying to import the mesh in ansys fluent it shows me the following critical error:

> Reading "C:\Users\admin\Desktop\polynomial_cascade_files\d p0\ICM\ICEMCFD\ICM.msh"...
19944 nodes, binary.
19542 quadrilateral cells, zone 10, binary.

The mesh is loading fine in ansys-cfx. I searched through the internet about the error but did not find any satisfactory solution. This study is actually a part of my summer project and I need to finish it positively in next few days. Hence any quick help will be highly appreciated. Thanks

tuhin wrote that he could import in CFX. That could be route for you as well:
1. export from ICEM to CFX5-format
2. import into CFX-Pre
3. write a def.file
4. import the def.file into Fluent.

Porbably you can skip step 1 by importing the exported .msh-file (from ICEM to fluent) directly into CFX-Pre.
